FOOD SECURITY AND LIVELIHOOD RESILIENCE PROJECT

Food security and Livelihood Resilience project is funded by DKA-Austria from 2013 up to dates and being implemented by Human Life Defence Department (HLDD) of the Catholic Diocese of Rulenge-Ngara.

Target beneficiaries are rural vulnerable communities in Biharamulo district and meanwhile the project has reached directly 280 marginalised households, i.e. 2,000 people. At the international level, the project contribute to several goals among the 17 goal of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SGD) including #1 No poverty, #2 Zero hunger, #3 Good health and wellbeing, #4 Quality education, #5 Gender equality, #10 Reduced inequalities, and goal #13 Climate action.
